Dear Ladies
I just wanted to say a huge thank you to those of you who were able to attend the cocktail evening at the studio on Tuesday the 11th of August 2009.
It was such a pleasure to meet some of you and get to talk to you about TTM. You were very inspiring, not to mention smart, beautiful and lovely.
I also wanted to mention how lucky I think you all are to have such great support around you. There are many people who are not as fortunate to have a close network of friends and supporters who understand what they are going through… so make the most of it!
If I were you I would try to keep in touch with one another. If you have recovered from TTM and wish to help someone who is at the beginning of their treatment let Lucinda know. You might be able to give someone a ‘shoulder’ while they become as clear and strong as you are.
I do wish you all the best of luck in the future. I’m sure you will go from strength to strength.
Can I also encourage you, before I finish, to put your stories together for Lucinda and Jemima Khan’s book.
It would build great awareness for TTM and for what you have been through. If you don't fancy writing about your experience try drawing a picture of writing a poem… whatever you like… it's things like this that will help others in the future.
Until next time, best wishes to you all
Love
Duffy xx
PS - Thank you for the flowers and delicious cup cakes
Dear TTM Clients
It was wondrous to see you all in action, chatting away with one another, in fact we could hardly hear ourselves think above the din - what an evening full of splendour and excitement. Thank you so much for coming and making such a wonderful and successful evening. Highlights were seeing you all 'en masse'. Duffy's compassion, enthusiasm and drive in helping the campaign for wide knowledge and understanding of TTM is most gratefully appreciated.
Thanks also to Dr Munther J Haddad and Julie from Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Dr Munther invited one of the girls to join his staff when she has completed her training and will have an opportunity to work with premature babies.
All my staff were wonderful, the food yum and the cupcakes to die for All in all we stayed double the time intended, so obviously a brilliant time was had by all judging the copious cards, letters, emails and texts sent to us.
