NHS Funding

We have recently had notification from a London Primary Care Trust that they have granted 'indefinite' funding to one of our Intralace System™ clients. In all previous funding cases for our clients, the Primary Care Trusts have either agreed a monetary amount towards the clients’ hair loss management or in some cases they will agree to fund for a certain period of time. We are very pleased that this particular PCT have recognised how the Intralace System™ has enhanced our clients' quality of life.

Christmas Prize Draw

This year we will be entering all our clients into a Christmas Prize Draw. We will announce the three winners in our January newsletter.

1st prize - £100 credit on your Lucinda Ellery account, this can be used either towards your hair appointments or in our Health Space.
2nd prize is a free Wash and Blow Dry at the studio or a 55 minute Swedish Massage.
3rd prize is a goodie bag of hair products.

Our last day of opening this year will be on Wednesday the 23rd of December 2009 and the studio will re-open on Saturday 2nd January 2010.

Hair Miles

We are proud to launch our new Hair Miles Client Reward Scheme which has exciting benefits for existing clients at Lucinda Ellery Consultancy. When you recommend a friend or friends to come in for a consultation and then they book in for an Intralace System™ or Hair Extension application, you will receive a Hair Miles credit to the value of 10% of what your friend spends on their first application of hair.

So for example, if you recommend 5 friends who all come in for a consultation and then come in to have their first application; each of your friends will receive a 10% discount and 10% of the total spend of each friend will be put onto your account as a Hair Miles credit. If they all have the same as you, then this could mean 50% of your next set of hair extensions or new Intralace System™!

We are pleased to announce that we have introduced a new service called Hopi Ear Candles. This is a relaxing, balancing and detoxifying treatment which creates healing for sinus, discomfort, headaches, neck problems, earache, stress and nervousness. Ear candles are used to create a feeling of warmth in the area enabling a massage like affect. A facial massage is used to complete the holistic treatment at only £35.00 for 45 minutes.

Easy Living Magazine October 2009

The journalist Lisa Markwell wrote a candid account of how she was diagnosed with breast cancer. The article was focused on how she found losing her hair through chemotherapy one of the most difficult aspects of her illness. Lisa came to see Lucinda for a consultation to discuss the benefits of using the Intralace System™ while she waited for her own hair to grow back. She had the system fitted in July 2009. Lisa, like many of our clients, felt that once the system was in place she began to feel like her normal self again. Her friends, family and colleagues all marvelled at how natural her Intralace System™ looked. Read her article here

Saga Magazine October 2009

The October edition of Saga Magazine had an article on hair loss and hair thinning and the journalist Sally Brampton came to see Lucinda at the studio to get an understanding of the different hair loss management options that we offer. She wrote about the Intralace System™ and also mentioned Lucinda’s personal experience of hair loss since childhood.

We have had many calls from both the Saga Magazine article and the Easy Living magazine article and as a result Lucinda has been seeing many new clients for consultations.
