Intralace System™

Lucinda Ellery is changing the name of our integration service from Volumiser to Intralace System™. This new name comes with exciting new developments, in particular the hair line area and parting section. We have been developing new hair line technology over the last twelve months. This technology is now at its final developmental stage. We hope to offer everyone using the Intralace System™ a new exciting styling option soon.

This new styling option does not require clients to have full fringes but instead the system offers a natural prosthetic hair line and is a significant step forward for Lucinda Ellery. Clients will be notified in full when this new technology is ready for clients use.

Under Parting Wash and Cleanse

This is a new service that we are offering and can be organised before we start your adjustment. We remove your parting section, wash your hair with a cleansing scalp treatment and then wash your hair with an intensive conditioning treatment. As a result of your parting being removed, your hair roots underneath will receive an exceptionally thorough wash reducing a build up of dead skin cells and possible irritation and itching. This appointment would need to be booked when you are organising your adjustment. The cost of this service is £50.00 with an additional 15-30 minutes on your adjustment time. Please allow another 1 1/2 hours on your appointment time for this service.

Client Care Service

We do our very best to ensure that each of our clients are happy with the services at Lucinda Ellery and that you are confident about looking after your hair - there are always Managers or Supervisors on hand to speak to you during your appointment. If however, you prefer to talk in the privacy of your own home, please do not hesitate to contact Miriam Afford our Client Liaison Manager on 0208 741 8224. The New Lucinda Ellery Health Space

We are proud to announce that the Lucinda Ellery Health Space has now been designed and as a result we are actively recruiting a full time Therapist. There will be various treatments on offer - Massages, Restylane, Facials, Nail Treatments and Waxing. We are in the process of trialling a number of the services that we hope to have up and running in July 2008.

We will soon be advising all our clients of the new and exciting services that will be provided in the Health Space. For those of you with a more inquisitive nature, additional information has been provided about Restylane and Eye Lash Extension which are confirmed on offer.

Restylane

Collagen cells provide structural support for the skin whilst giving it shape. As skin gets older, wrinkles and folds can begin to appear because these cells have reduced in number. A dermal filler can be injected into the skin to replace those collagen cells to restore suppleness and shape to your face.

Restylane is a gel that is injected into the skin in order to replace lost volume and restore youthful contours to the individuals skin. It is approved to treat moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds). Restylane is the result of a healthier more youthful appearance, giving you a natural enhancement.

The product is long lasting, about 4 –6 months, but it is not permanent. This is an advantage because once the dermal filler has worn off, you have the option of re-evaluating what you want and so can have more or less treatment next time. As the face changes with time, Restylane treatments can be more easily tailored than permanent products.

Depending on the area that is to be treated, some topical anaesthetic may be required or a local anaesthetic nerve block. The treatment usually takes between 3-40 minutes depending on the number of lines and wrinkles that are to be treated.

Mr David Roberts FRCS (ORL) is a Consultant Ear Nose and Throat surgeon appointed to Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals NHS Trust. He is accredited by the Specialist Advisory Committee in Otorhinolarygology Head and Neck Surgery and has been awarded his Certificate of Specialist Training by the authority of the Medical Royal Colleges. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a member of the British Association of Otorhinolarygology and the European Rhinology Society. He holds the diploma of the American Association of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and is a past fellow and a board member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgeons. He lectures nationally and internationally on all aspects of nasal surgery and facial surgery.

Restylane
Professional Eye Lash Extensions

Have you ever wanted eye lash extensions but wanted them to look luscious and natural. Semi-permanent, synthetic eyelash extension can give you longer, thicker and natural looking eyelashes. Single strands of synthetic lashes are individually applied to your own natural lashes. Fortunately to those who don't have a high tolerance to pain, there is no discomfort or pain involved in applying the extensions. They are safe to use in the shower, sleeping, exercising and swimming. The treatment can take between 1 1/2 hour to 3 hours depending on the needs of the client and the eye lash stylist.

Eye lash extensions are perfect for every day or that special occasion you may have in the future, but to work effectively they have to be applied to existing natural eye lashes. If you are suffering from Alopecia Totalis or may be undergoing Chemotherapy this treatment will not be suitable.

A full set usually means about 50 single lashes being added to each eye. They are virtually undetectable and because they are black they eliminate the need for mascara. They come in a selection of lengths which means you can choose the desired finished look.
